What a newborn needs
In the first few months, layering works better than a thick coat: a bodysuit, a sleepsuit or outfit and a knitted cardigan on top. A knitted cardigan is warm without being heavy and easy to put on because it opens at the front. For going out in winter, add a blanket or pram footmuff.

1-3 months: newborns outgrow the 58 cm of size 0-1 month very quickly. A slightly roomy knitted cardigan works perfectly with the sleeves turned up.
