Sets

A 3-year-old boy usually wears size 3 years, for a height of 93–98 cm. If he's already over 98 cm, choose 4 years (99–104 cm). Measure him without shoes and remember that all the pieces come in the same size; there are more measurements in the size guide.

For school, a zip is more practical: he can take it off by himself when he gets warm. A hood adds a bit more warmth outdoors and usually features the most fun designs, like ears or animals. If you can't decide, a hooded zip-up style gives you the best of both.

Sweatshirt fleece is thicker and warmer, with a soft inside, and is better for chilly days or the playground. Knit is finer and lighter, for indoors or mild weather. At tuc tuc there are also sets that combine both: a knit T-shirt with fleece trousers.

As a general recommendation, wash it inside out, on a cold wash and without tumble drying, and always follow the care label. Do up the zip before putting it in the washing machine so it doesn't snag other clothes, and don't iron over prints or embroidery.

For cold days, a plain coat in one of the colours from the print; for in-between weather, a knitted jumper or a light jacket. That way the set gets worn for many months. You'll find options in boys' jackets.
